For the Christmas and New Year period, some services are changing, including bin collection and postal delivery and collection days. In this guide, we have useful information on what’s running during this time of year in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.
Bin days in Bradford
Collections shown for Wednesday 25th December will be collected on Monday 23rd December.
Collections shown for Saturday 28th December will be collected on Thursday 26th December.
Collections shown for Wednesday 1st January will be collected on Saturday 4th January.
All other dates shown when searching for your bin collection dates on the Bradford Council website will be on your normal dates. Household recycling centres in the district are open every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Bin days in Craven
There will be no collections on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. If your normal collection day is on a Wednesday, please check your bin or recycling collection day on the North Yorkshire Council website to see when it will happen during Christmas.
Household recycling centres in Skipton and Settle are open every day except Wednesdays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
