National helplines

These are helplines that are run for people nationally. Please note that some of them may not be open during Christmas, bank holidays or weekends.

Support with mental health

Healthy Minds list a range of mental health support services working across Bradford and Craven. More information about what’s available in the area is on their website: Healthy Minds

The Cellar Trust helps people in Bradford and Craven with their mental health. Their work includes running safe spaces and peer support groups. Here is a summary of when their services are open:

The Cellar Trust services with the exception of Safe Spaces will be closed after Friday 22nd December and will reopen on Tuesday 2nd January.

If you are facing a mental health crisis or feel unable to cope, Safe Spaces is still here for urgent support everyday over Christmas and New Year.

Call First Response on 0800 952 1181 or Guide-Line on 08001 884 884 to talk with a trained professional who will help you reach the support you need, and they can make a referral to one of our Safe Spaces for a same day one-to-one appointment.
