Introducing Eloise, our new Service Manager

We are pleased to announce that Autism AIM has a new Service Manager. Eloise Sutcliffe will be starting in role this month. She is currently Universal Advocacy Lead for Advonet’s Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) and Care Act Advocacy services in Leeds.

Eloise will be in her new role with us for three days a week, working as Universal Advocacy Lead for Advonet’s Care Act Advocacy service for the other two. She spoke to us about what she will do for us:

My time at Advonet has been incredibly rewarding, and I feel proud to have worked alongside such passionate people in strengthening the voices of the people of Leeds.

“As I move into this new chapter as Service Manager for AIM, I’m excited to bring my experience of statutory advocacy, quality assurance, and service development to an already collaborative, person-centered team that truly puts people at the heart of everything it does”.

Meeting the team

In the next few weeks, Eloise will be meeting with our partners, funders, and supporters across West Yorkshire. She will also be meeting with the rest of our team, getting a feel for our service and visiting our Autism Hub sessions in Leeds.

Eloise’s background in advocacy will serve her well. Having started as a Universal Advocate working in Health Complaints Advocacy and Community Advocacy, she has always been interested in AIM’s work, even attending our 10th anniversary celebration event last year!

Her advocacy skills will help her and the whole team to ensure that the voices of autistic adults we work with continue to be heard. We all look forward to working with Eloise going forward.
