Share your experience of health services in our Focus Group

Next week, Autism AIM will be running a focus group for autistic adults as part of the Amplify Project, facilitated by the Yorkshire and Humber Patient Safety Research Collaboration. The group will ask participants about accessing health services, covering appointments with GPs and other healthcare workers.

It will ask questions about topics such as:

  • Booking and preparing for appointments
  • Being in appointments
  • Searching for health information online
  • What happens after your appointment

The aim of the group is to use feedback given to help make appointments with health services better for autistic adults. Any feedback received from the group will be much appreciated.

When is the Focus Group?

The group will meet on Monday 23rd June from 5:30pm to 7pm. It will be facilitated by Georgia, Deputy Manager for Bradford and Craven Autism AIM and the Autism AIM – Mental Health Equity Project.

The group will be held online on Zoom and is for autistic adults aged between 18 and 27 years old who have made a referral to either Bradford and Craven Autism AIM or Leeds Autism AIM.

All participants will receive a £20 Love2Shop voucher as thanks for joining the group.
