At this time of year, there are a handful of autistic-friendly events and groups taking place in Leeds. Some of them are from us, whilst others have provisions to make them more accessible to autistic adults.
In this guide, we list some events and groups that might be of interest.
Neuro-Queer Group
Yorkshire MESMAC’s Neuro-Queer Group is meeting in Bradford on Tuesday 16th December from 7pm-9pm. It is for LGBTQIA+ neurodivergent adults living in Bradford and nearby areas and is free to join.
If you would like to attend, please contact Char by email at c.dodsworth@mesmac.co.uk.
January’s Online Mental Health Peer Support Group
On Wednesday 7th January from 6pm-7pm, we are running our regular online monthly mental-health focused Peer Support Group. It is for autistic adults living in Bradford and Craven who get little or no funded support, taking place on Zoom.
